we went to the movies on a school night!

earlier this week, kailin and i hopped in the car of my friend ariel from bible study and we headed to plano to watch the movie "waiting for superman" for extra credit in our developmental psychology class (and lord knows i need it after that last test). we arrived at our destination in record time with the help of a cute gps and the friendly toll roads of the dallas parkway that let us drive through for free (well, they might bill us later...). after dining at a tasty restaurant (where we got free dessert) we headed to the main event of the night - the exclusive angelika film center. the movie theatre was super swanky and we were the only ones in our theatre until a group of about twenty teachers joined us. it was a great movie and i might have cried a little (or a lot) but i left feeling so grateful for my education and the wonderful teachers i've had over the years that have pushed to me to become a better student and person. we are so privileged.

go see this movie -
you most definitely won't regret it.
{read what kailin had to say about it here.}
